How to: Google Analytics on WordPress

Before you Start
In order to connect Google Analytics to your WordPress site, you need to sign up first.
- Log into your Google Account and browse the Google Analytics page and click on Get started today

- Another screen will appear and you need to click on Start measuring

- On the Create an account page, enter the information needed and set your Account Data Sharing Settings before you click Next

- Create a property, this can be the name of your site (You will need this later when running the MonsterInsights Wizard)
- Set the Business details
- Choose your business objectives
- Once you accept the terms and conditions after carefully reading it, you are almost there!!!
How to connect Google Analytics with your WordPress
- On your WordPress installation, navigate to Plugins -> Add New.
- Search for MonsterInsights – Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress (Website Stats Made Easy) plugin. Install and activate it
- Go back to your WordPress dashboard.
- A new option called Insights should appear.

- Click on the Launch Setup Wizard

- Follow the instructions and filling in the necessary information, once completed you will be able to see your site reports.
